What Feedback did I Receive and how am I going to Respond to it?
- Both Matt and Jamie made it clear that I am working in too much detail and not enough with shape. This confused me because I wasn't sure what I can afford to take away from my milk man image. It was suggested that I try working with flatter shape to achieve a simplicity (at the moment my milk carton is very three dimensional). In order to do this I am going to have to take a very different approach - Maybe try cropping it and zooming in to the face?? Or doing a plastic milk carton instead?? I can draw this as one flat shape.
- However, I was really happy with the milk man design, so I still want to present it as one of my final images. Jamie suggested a couple tweaks I could make to refine it - he suggested altering the hands and feet (too bulky). I agree with this and I would like to re-design them so that they are slightly thinner. I might try separating the fingers (I don't like how the middle on is fatter than the other two). He also suggested making the milk straight in the frame but I quite like how he is slightly slumped (he appears more human).
- In response to this feedback, I can see that there is a lot more that I can do with this design. I am therefore going to focus on further developing this one instead of going back and developing other ideas. - I only need one final sticker!!
